Warriors Academy, Club, Events, Private Training and any other offering all come from one place – we love our players and we love this game. We believe that if our players have a happy, constructive environment at the club, they will achieve their goals and grow as people along the way. Without reservation, we believe that the same holds for our youngsters,  the Wee Warriors at 6 years old, right through to our Junior Olympic and Senior National players that are fighting for National titles and Springbok representation.

We create environments in which our players learn how to be effective in the water as an individual and as a teammate – our commitment to individual technical excellence is matched by our commitment to developing strategic understanding and how each player fits into a team dynamic. We have consistently seen that at any level, the players that can draw their teammates into the game both in the water and out of it, are the ones that have successful, long careers in the sport.

We have multiple venues in any given season, but our ‘Home Base’ for 90% of our training and events is the wonderful facility at Wynberg Boys Junior School (WBJS – accessed through the main school entrance on Oxford Street, see map below). This recently renovated pool complex includes a 20x25m water polo-specific pool with options on full pool and half-pool setups, and a 2x20m shallow lap pool that is perfect for developing out little Wee Warriors’ skills.

2 full changing rooms with hot showers and toilets for players and staff round out the offering.

Some of our 2024 sessions are at Herschel Girls High School, also access through the main gate on Herschel Road.

Yes! All sessions at WBJS and Herschel are accessed through the main school entrances, with ample parking on school premises, so you can park and wait (however, we suggest coming in to the pool area and watching sessions – way more fun and informative than sitting in the car!).
